The March Madness principle spills over into hockey and Las Vegas fans are getting spoiled. An avalanche of games unfolds at the Orleans arena in March and the Wranglers are an elite team. They roared into mid-February with the third highest point total in the 25-team circuit and have an abundant lead in their division.
The Wranglers play nine consecutive home dates beginning March 4 at 9:05 p.m. against Stockton. The stint includes games on March 7, 8, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21 and 23—with three straight contests against Alaska starting March 18.
Most games begin at 7:05 p.m. This is an excellent chance to enjoy an unusually large sample of a strong sports product. It’s a testament to the Wranglers organization that it continues to flourish in a league which discourages dynasties by limiting the number of veteran players on any team.
