Ocean’s 13 George

A movie with a different flavor but with just as much appeal is Ocean’s 13, Steven Soderbergh’s third installment of the Rat Pack take-off. Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and Rusty Ryan (Brad Pitt) reassemble their gang after their friend Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould) suffers a heart attack as a result of being swindled out of a real estate deal by ruthless casino mogul Willie Bank (Al Pacino).

Yes, the boys are in it for revenge this time around. They even team up with their old enemy Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) to bankrupt Bank. Ocean’s 13 is a decidedly fun ride, with a smart script that goes down like a smooth martini. There are cons within cons here and the movie will keep you guessing. Plus, everyone looks great and is having a good time. Ocean’s 13 recaptures the slick, easy-going style of the original and is a perfect escape for the holidays.
