For seven years, Susan Bonney catered to the needs of the high-end clientele at William B’s in the Stardust. That came to an end November 1, 2006, when the legendary property closed its doors, but for Bonney, her working relation with the Boyd Gaming Corp. would continue after she accepted a transfer to the Orleans, and a new position as restaurant manager for the property.

“Boyd is a great company to work for,” she said. “They treat everyone like family.”

Bonney likes to extend that to her guests, both those who became like family to her during her tenure at the Stardust and the new ones she is now meeting at the Orleans.

Whether at the upscale restaurant at the Stardust or the less-formal ones at the Orleans, Bonney says the most important thing is to treat everybody with respect.
