More than 30,000 visitors flooded the Las Vegas Convention Center for the seventh edition of Global Gaming Expo (G2E). Each day brought new events, making it the one “must attend” event on the gaming calendar. The record number of attendees were welcomed by new highs of exhibitors (750) and floor space (330,000 square feet). G2E is the climax of the industry’s major manufacturers. The timing of G2E, in the middle of the fourth quarter, has become a major indication of how the companies will fare in the new year. Judging by the crowds, the products and the enthusiasm on display at G2E this year, 2008 will be a good year for almost everyone.
