Station Casinos Inc. continued its three-year run, coming in at number 18 in Fortune magazine’s annual list of the “100 Best Companies to Work For.”

Station climbed 37 spots over its previous ranking as the 55th best company to work for on last year’s list, and remains the only gaming company to be selected by the magazine for the honor.

The company moved up in the rankings based on several factors, including diversity—minorities make up 50 percent of the workforce—and job growth, which increased 27 percent last year.

“Much of our company’s success comes from our team members, they are our greatest asset,” said Frank Fertitta III, Station chairman and CEO. “My brother Lorenzo and I are proud that Fortune magazine continues to recognize the core values our father set forth 30 years ago to treat our team members the way we would want to be treated.”

Valeria Murzl, vice president of human resources for Station, echoed Fertitta’s comments, praising the quality of the company’s employees for the honor.

“It is the power of our team members united together embracing our culture that produces the results of this Fortune recognition,” she said.
