Vol. 4, No. 1, January 2008, Sports
High Gear for Hockey
Hockey lovers, unite.
The Wranglers will embark on one of the home-stands that make the ECHL unique. With teams spread throughout the country, and their division extending into Canada, the Wranglers have long home-stands and road trips.
January brings them home for six consecutive games at the Orleans Arena starting New Year’s Day. They play Stockton at 5:05 p.m., then shift for three straight battles against Fresno on January 4, 5 and 8 at 7:05 p.m. They entertain the Victoria Salmon Kings January 11 and 12 at 7:05 p.m.
Five games in nine days… it’s a hockey lover’s paradise. The Wranglers play five of the following seven away from home, hit the road fairly heavily in February and finish the season with a strong March home schedule.
