New Deal Sets Strip Record
A deal to purchase the land on which the Harley Davidson Café sits could set a new record in Strip land prices, eclipsing that set a month ago when the New Frontier sold for $35 million per acre.

FX Luxury Realty is acquiring the remaining 50 percent interest on 18 acres at the intersection of Harmon and the Las Vegas Strip for $180 million.

Deutsche Bank gaming analyst Bill Lerner said when debt is included in the deal, the land is selling for nearly $37 million an acre.

The new buyer is said to be interested in a casino project involving the estate of Elvis Presley.
