Sands Ready to Staff Palazzo
Las Vegas Sands Corp. is gearing up to staff its Palazzo Resort adjacent to the Venetian, with an employment drive to fill the 4,000 available jobs at the property. The company is expecting more than 50,000 applications, and to that end, has established a new, 12,000-square-foot employment center.
“As we look forward to the highly-anticipated opening of the Palazzo, we are delighted to welcome new team members to our organization,” said Rob Goldstein, president of the Palazzo and the Venetian. “The Venetian has become one of the world’s most successful and recognizable hotels largely because of the long-standing dedication and commitment of our team members. That same type of professionalism is what will help establish the Palazzo as a must-stay destination for the world’s most discriminating travelers.”
The Palazzo is accepting applications for nearly all positions, including hotel operations, housekeeping, gaming, food and beverage, property operations, marketing, telecommunications, wedding services, entertainment and administration.
To cut down on paperwork and facilitate a more efficient employee-candidate screening process, the Palazzo is only accepting applications online. People without an internet connection or computer at home, and who are unable to access those available at public libraries, can visit the new employment center to apply, too.
Located at 7180 Pollock Drive, the center has 65 computer terminals for applicants. The employment center will serve the needs of not only the Palazzo, but the Venetian as well.
