Henderson celebrates the saint who drove snakes from Ireland with the 42nd St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival starting March 13. The four-day event is held at the Henderson Events Plaza on Water Street in downtown Henderson. It features carnival rides and games, food and craft vendors, live entertainment, and of course, a beer garden.

The highlight of the celebration is the Water Street parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 15. There’s no word yet on the grand marshal for the two-hour parade, but last year it was Carrot Top.
