Mandalay Bay hosts an excellent March 15 showcase: Juan Manuel Marquez opposes Manny Pacquiao, the pride of the Philippines, in a WBC Super Featherweight bout. Marquez is one of boxing’s underrated superstars. Pacquiao is trying to balance boxing and the life of celebrity. His picture is on Philippine currency. PacMan even tried to enter government while boxing, but was defeated in an election last year. His true talents lie in the ring, where he has returned.

Orleans opens the March boxing schedule with an event March 7, while the Hilton fashions a kickboxing special March 22.
