Hoops, Hockey Thrive

The PBR championships kick (or buck) off an interesting November sports ride. Boxing occurs November 2 at the Orleans and the Las Vegas Invitational college basketball tournament graces the Orleans November 23 and 24.

Don’t forget four college and pro football weekends, an NFL Thanksgiving tripleheader, the NHL and NBA. Boxing fans can follow a major month in their sport on television.

The college basketball tournament includes ACC champion University of North Carolina. Others include BYU, Old Dominion and Louisville. It will pack four games apiece into a two-day format November 23-24.

The Wranglers play a nice grouping of games. They host ECHL teams November 2 and 3, and then finish the month with games November 20, 25, 27, 29 and 30 at the Orleans Arena. The ECHL is known for long road trips and extended home stands. This is an excellent vehicle for developing fan loyalty.
