Las year, 45,000 fans packed Sam Boyd Stadium to watch the BYU Cougars dismantle Oregon 38-8.
The 32-member committee that selects the teams for the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl has been scouting BYU to return for the 2007 game. Committee members are impressed with how well the team travels.
It’s difficult to predict who will be coming from the Pac-10, with several big games yet to come, including tough games for USC, hosting California and traveling to meet Pac-10 leader Arizona State in Tempe’s Sun Devil Stadium.
