Elevation
Elevated, the new gay night on the Strip, provides guests with a euphoric party atmosphere 480 feet above Las Vegas Boulevard every Tuesday night at the House of Blues Foundation Room. Sponsored by QVegas, the weekly event offers savory libations, rhythmic beats by Las Vegas’ top DJs and a one-of-a-kind view of the Strip from the premier Las Vegas club.

All guests must be 21 or older and dress code is enforced. Doors open at 11 p.m. and admission is $5.

Elevated officially launched August 4.

Old Bones
One of the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex specimens ever discovered is going on the auction block October 3, and while few will be able to afford what will likely be an upwards of $8 million selling price, from September 18 through October 3, the specimen will be on display at the Venetian.

The 66-million-year-old bones were found in South Dakota about 15 years ago, and the skull is considered one of the most complete in existence.

The skeleton will be exhibited in the space formerly occupied by the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum at the Venetian.
