Trisha Yearwood is a constant in the country music industry, marrying her talents to any song she decides to sing, regardless of its tempo or lyrical content. Yearwood is also a pro at duets (typically with husband Garth Brooks), and her latest single is a partnership with one of country’s newest stars, Josh Turner, called “Another Try.”

Perhaps there will be a few guest stars on Yearwood’s summer tour, but regardless, her vocal chops shine solo. Like crossover country star Faith Hill (but with stronger vocals), Yearwood’s hits are recognizable even to those who don’t listen to country—“She’s in Love With the Boy” and “How Do I Live” are classic examples. Her voice is powerful without sounding like an overwhelming diva.
