Christine Chapman didn’t come to Las Vegas with grand plans of managing a steakhouse—she came here as a dancer. However, as is often the case, one career ties into the other. The skills she learned performing on stage in resort showrooms apply to running a restaurant: “It’s all about teamwork,” Chapman said. “You really have to work together as a team in food service.” Kristopher’s has been a staple at the Riviera for 20 years, and Chapman has been a staple at Khristopher’s for nearly as long. Over the years she has gotten to know a number of the guests returning to both the resort and the restaurant, and seeing those familiar faces is her favorite thing. “What really makes my job special is all the repeat customers I get,” she said.
