Everyone Loves Chris
Chris Rock’s comedic style is so rambunctious that many people miss his biting commentary on politics, racism and relationships. His jokes are not only funny, but they perfectly describe American society, almost to the point of discomfort.

Rock’s stand-up routines have courted controversy since he first appeared on the comedy circuit. From police brutality to misogyny in hip-hop to successful relationships (in which both parties have contemplated homicide), Rock has consistently pinpointed the subtleties in everyday experiences, in addition to the recognition of societal ills.

His early beginnings were in television, where he appeared on Saturday Night Live and In Living Color. He moved to TV specials and then films, which he now writes and directs (see the recent I Think I Love My Wife). His latest project is a sitcom based on his childhood, called Everybody Hates Chris.

Watching Rock’s evolution from SNL to his current work, it is clear that he has honed his sharply worded observations, becoming one of the most brilliant political commentators of our time. To see the comedian in action, stop by Caesars Palace this month for a show during Rock’s two-night engagement.

Chris Rock appears at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace August 29 and 30 at 11 p.m. Tickets are $86.36, $104.55, $122.73 and $159.09.
