Monty Python’s Spamalot ended a 15-month run at Wynn Las Vegas on July 13.

The closing was not much of a surprise, as producers had already expressed their intentions to end the production.

Wynn Las Vegas already signed Danny Gans away from MGM Mirage to take over as the headline entertainment at the property.

Spamalot marked Steve Wynn’s second attempt at bringing Broadway to the Strip. His first effort, Avenue Q, closed after a short nine-month run.
